In September of 2002, the Station
opened its doors to an eager rock band that traveled all the way from
Orlando. This page is dedicated to the
victims, the survivors, their families and anyone who suffered a loss on February 20,
2003
due to the fire at the Station in West Warwick, RI. theDiligents send our deepest sympathies to
the lost fans and musicians from the most generous musical community we've ever
known. We are thankful to have had the opportunity of experiencing the
warmth and strength of the people of Rhode Island over the year prior to the
fire. The staff, bands and fans at the Station
always made us feel completely welcome with their own brand of hospitality. We had only
scheduled one show, but
we managed to stay 5 days and perform 3 times at the Station. We were
invited back in December and to our astonishment our fan base had tripled.
Some of the bands we've performed with at the Station
include: Dirty Deeds, Hawkin's
Rise, Mr. Lincoln, Shiver, Mutha Ugly, and Fresh Crop. We'd like to remain in touch with all of
them.
